Part Time Retail Support Administrator

At Highworth Emporium we are currently looking for a vibrant, confident, outgoing personality with great interpersonal skills to become our admin support. The position requires a very good level of IT skills and also have good attention to detail. Experience in a retail environment will be useful but by no means necessary.
The Role
As Administrator you will be responsible for making sure that store administration is accurate and consistent. You will also be required to import products in the system and on online channels, keep on the top of emails and customer messages, ensure stock checks are carried out regularly along with supporting the manager in any additional store initiatives that may arise. This is a part time role for average 20 hours a week, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday.
To be able to fulfil this role you will need to learn everything about the shop, how we work and what we stock. Therefore initial 3-4 months will be mainly shop based and office based afterwards.
Responsibilities:
Booking deliveries in EPOS system, checking the prices and pricing the products
Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries, complaints an orders
Importing products into online channels including our website
Writing product descriptions
Liaising with online customers regarding deliveries, complaints and orders
Helping on the shop floor as necessary
Supporting shop manager
Promoting the shop via social media and other forms
Liaising with shop manager to make the shop successful
Skills
Previous administration experience in a retail environment is advantageous
Retail experience
Strong administration skills
Excellent organisational skills
PC Literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
Enthusiasm to drive our business forward
A real passion for customers and retail
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
A can do positive attitude.
Previous EPOS system experience is beneficial
Ideally experience in E-Commerce and social media
